Double post...my fought

Thats alot of money. I just want one console to satisfy my needs. The Xbox 360 had the games, but the hardware is what pissed me off about it and that console led me into wanting a Wii, but since its so short on supply and Nintendo is being extremely gay about not providing the right shipment, I choose to get a used 60GB PS3. Which is cool, but doesn't have any games that I want right now. Warhawk and Ratchet and Clank is cool, but I want MGS4 and FFXIII now and GTA IV and then I will be satisfied, plus those games don't come out till late 08 into early 09. So its a rather IDK situation I'm in now. I do want a Wii now, I guess I will have to do that stalk the Fedex or UPS truck and wait till Gamestop recieves those Wii's. Cause I'm really losing interest in the PS3 now :(

Your formula makes sense, but depends. $432 is too good of a deal for 80gig+motorstorm+5bluray (movies to resell) for me. :) But yea, my PS3 is gathering dust along with my wii cuz i've been so busy lately. Well, the wii cuz im waiting for xmas to finish off my zelda and paper mario and ofcourse, mario galaxy! PS3...i'm still waiting for Final Fantasy 13. hahah. But I'll have to manage with enchanted arms for now. :)

If you aren't sure what game to get, pick up a sub to gamefly and try out some of the games that are out for the PS3. Never know, could find something you really like.

Dang, dude ... I have a very hard time following you. First, you said you loved your 360 - basically gave it away because you were ticked off with the hardware (didn't think of just shipping it back but ...) and picked up the PS3. Shouted its praises to the high heavens ... and now, you are back to earth, realizing that the gaming library and waiting for games sucks.

Man, I can swear I am watching 'As the world turns.' I ain't mad at you, but one thing that will help you big time is ... not being an impulse buyer. If you have to have something, wait two days ... weigh why should buy said console/game and revisit it. If the passion is still strong, buy it.

As stated earlier, I bought a Wii not for the games, but to resell it - flip. And I played it and loved it. I bought a 360 because I loved COD2, and I bought a PS2 for GTAIII. I had to have a compelling reason each time to buy a console. Heck, even my Xbox was purchased because I liked Halo.

I feels for you. Not trying to flame or discourage you, but often, I don't know if I can believe you or know your statement is gonna be as genuine as a 3-dollar bill within a week or two.

Well then I'm going to wait. I need to learn how to do that. So I will wait!

 It makes perfect sense.  If Motorstorm is actually important it to you, count it as a game, if not, take $20 off the console price (maybe close to what you'd get for it, probably more $10-15 I guess).  I don't count movies in my formula because it's pretty silly to buy a console to watch movies on.

Like others said, get Warhawk, Ratchet and CoD4. These 3 are pretty much taking all my free time :)

Sega Genesis because I wanted to play Sonic the Hedgehog
Game Boy Color because I wanted to play Pokemon Yellow
Sony Playstation because I wanted to play WWE Smackdown series
Nintendo 64 because I wanted to play Pokemon Snap and Stadium
Sony Playstation 2 because I wanted to play GTA 3
Sony PSP because I wanted to play GTA: Liberty City and Vice City Stories
Microsoft Xbox 360 because I wanted to play Halo 3

and now I have bought the PS3 because I wanted to play MGS4 and FFXIII

This feels so much better after explaining why I bought each console. I feel better now madskillz and everyone. WOOT WOOT!!!

I'm guessing the Wii will be in much larger supply in the coming weeks with SMGs release. You just need to look in the store flyers for Sunday (you can usually get them on Saturday or earlier) and show up at stores that have them early.
