Do I need more certain type players for certain task?

Not single solo player can make it to top alone..

I haven't played either of these games so I'm not sure but my roommate plays Wow and I just checked Mag and they sound somewhat similar.

If by taking you mean incorporating a system in which a leader can issue orders to team squads members to try and introduce some sort of rhythm in the otherwise chaotic 256 multiplayer battles in so that they might overcome the opposing players, then yes it has.

Well, I wouldn't say they took it from WoW....They might not have even realized that WoW had a similar system, just keep in mind that it's not exactly rocket science to split people up into groups when in large numbers...they do it in pre-school

There's a lot more to a WoW raid than comamnders leading small groups.

Ok let me set things straight on this one. WoW is the pioneer of absolutely nothing. Everquest is the father and where everything started ( I believe the servers are still up). So if anything MAG would have taken from the father of MMO's which was Everquest. You can also argue in favor of planetside and so on. Anyways I played WoW until ToC era (hunter, I even got deathhead's crossbow when it was new and "OMG") but then I quit. It got too stupid and easy for me even on PVP, but I am sure many have fun with it so more power to them.

I guess you could say that, but then our military's procedures and the ways they coordinate battles and missions would also have to be based of WOW, becasue what you listed above is basically how real field operations work, so i think its safe to say MAG is based of real military stratagies.
