That was... Beautiful.

Seriously, great analysis.

the Battle was actually based on Divine Comedy , i don't know how he didn't mention that, but at first you start in "Inferno" then "Purgatory" then "Paradiso" and lastly "the fallen Seraphic" or "Lucifer"

I live for the sword, the steel, and the gun...

I aint played the game for years, and probably wont again until the DS/DS2 remake comes out.

Reading this is like... "Memories".

Lucifer came at the end of Inferno, not Paradiso. The final stage is God himself.

Yeah, I know. Inferno was the first part of the Divine Comedy, and Lucifer was trapped - frozen - in the ninth circle of Hell. The first stage there, the enormous beast, is more akin to Dante's description of Lucifer - huge, clawed, frozen in place

Kefka is still, to this day, the best video game villain. Perfect write up and why FF6 and FF9 are tied for my two favorite in the franchise.

My best boss theme ever. I was listening to it often while I was in the army among with other things.Really helped me escape :)
