Forums - Sales - Super Mario Galaxy future.

Super Mario Galaxy is not a bomb, has anyone played the game yet? I got it yesterday and it's one of the best games I've ever played. It will have strong legs from word of mouth more than anything else and the Wii craze is still going on. We just have alot of dumb people in this world who makes a thread about this

Gap is becoming wider and wider. After 3 weeks:

Super Mario Galaxy - 380k (3rd week - more than 40k)

Super Mario Sunshine - 510k (3rd week - almost 60k)

I was really close with my prediction once again (40k). Next two weeks will be very important. Sunshine sold in 4 and 5 week respectable 40k and almost 50k. I believe SMG won't keep current pace any longer. I think it will sell 30k or less next week.

It's worth to mention pretty promising start in the US. Sunshine sold almost 6 million though and it won't be easy to break that record.

What? SMG will easily pass 6 million worldwide LTD. Maybe as soon as next summer.

I think you're purposely taking the numbers lightly.  It's already sold 1.3 million copies worldwide...and we're still not even in the Christmas season yet.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

i think tetsuo really dislikes smg and wii
