Yes, I do too,   it is kinda why i stopped going there, that they are a rip off with their used games.  I like going to Best Buy where the sales people dont know much of anything.

There are just as many reasons to hate Sony

 - overpriced hardware (apple tax, sony tax, etc...) especially in their sound equipment which is easily eciplsed by other brands for the same price.
 - refusing to use industry standard mediums (like SD cards) just because they can overcharge you for their memory
 - Sony has bought their way into plenty of business areas (gaming is one of them)
 - rootkit fiasco

the list can go on. These are mega corporations, they both screw up a lot, same with pretty much every other mega company.

actually, it would piss off pretty much any customer if you (as a sales person) starting craping all over the item the customer was interested in for no reason.

There is a local discount store that I won't even go to anymore because the salesman insulted my research on what the best washing machine (for the money) was and how the one I was looking for was garbage because they haven't been around for 50 years. There are enough good discount stores that will help me without instulting me or what I'm interested in for no reason. Now I'm not saying he a salesperson shouldn't steer you away from a product he thinks you will be unhappy with, but he better have a good reason and be nice about it.

where do you live? In my area, the gamestop clerks support the 360 and always seem to be trying to sell me one. I only buy from amazon now. I'd rather not deal with salespeople and 7% tax

funny how he missed the fact that sony bought their way during psx era way more than MS done during this gen even bribing Square Enix - they didn't bought exclusivity of Final Fantasy 7, they offered money for throwing away n64 version and making psx version instead(Nintendo refused to pay SE more when they informed them that sony have paid them to make FF7 exclusive).
if he would be oldschool he would rather play on DS.
