Are you playing on easy or normal? Because there is a big gap between the 2 difficulties that changes the gaming experience and gameplay.

Its not as hard as ninja gaiden or Devil may cry 3. You need to master the dodge move and get the timing and rest is cakewalk.

There is a lot of depth to mixing items you find and making lolypops which heal you, give you power ups...etc

Playing the game to me felt like second nature imediatly...Its like someone took the car you love to drive, and make it handle much better.

I have to say... this game is INCREDIBLE! The gameplay is a lot of fun and it has great combos!

I hope that GOW3 and Dante's Inferno are better than Bayonetta, so we can have 3 incredible games.

....wow, this is probably the best game I have ever played. I really think it's the best game this generation surpassing Fallout 3......I'm serious....

Currently 93 on metacritic as well, after 30 reviews. Only 3 reviews below 90 percent. None below 80......I think it'll end up above 90 percent on 360 most likely, making it the first AAA game on 2010. I wholeheartedly agree with that if it is the case! :)

Funny, the "gimped" PS3 version that nobody is going to buy is sitting at 90 on Metacritic. One of only 20 PS3 games at 90 or better, but since it's below the 360 score it's "terrible". . .

OT: Thanks for the insight into the game. I just finished the first God of War in the God of War Collection (can anyone say "easy trophies"? ) and want to finish the second prior to ME2 releasing. I may have to try and fit this game into the mix as well. It's a good/crazy time to be a gamer, particularly a multi-system owner.

If you are at all into anime, fighting, shooting, sex, killing, cool things, and boss fights, then this will be your favorite game on either console...

I played it on 360 and a bit on PS3...couldn't tell a difference. They weren't side by side though, and it was a few days apart.

This is bullshit from the internet. I am sure no1 will notice the difference while playing the game, but you will see a lot of useless comparison videos from gametrailers showing minimal differences that everyone will use against the PS3.

Also, I believe that Sony fixed the EU and US version of Bayonetta.
