inferior because you can't control it?

driving a car is easy while racing one isn't.

@Kanariya

Are you sure? I always thought it was an FWD car xD (Actually it's an FMR - Front Mid-Engine Rear Wheel Drive, but I think it was labeled RWD for easier understanding purposes)

But the control scheme is pratically identical, due to the lack of power compensation to the front wheels of the car, even if you have the engine weight in the front to compensate in terms of oversteering, you'll be bound to still feel the effects if you brake too hard.

Pure RWD cars will feel the effects of over-steering to an even higher degree, due to the immense inercia to the front end of the automobile.

Yes I'm sure it's RWD / FR.

I drive a G37 and it shares many stuff with the Z along with the FM platform

Yeah i've checked it out over at Nissan's web site ;) Sorry for the confusion.

The only RWD/FM i've driven so far was the MX5, it was quite an experience xD

If you don't like to drive real racing car then Forza 3 has better controls (a little more arcade and less real).

But if you like the feeling of driving a real racing car, like real life, then the Time Trial of GT5 has better controls (the most realistic driving physics).

For me who likes simulators... Forza 3 controls sucks... it's too arcade for my taste.

the problem with gran turismo 5 controls ethomaz is that you do not feel like you are driving a car.the steering is way too easy and the car steers with the most slight move you make.it is like skiing.honestly i do not know how that is real life.in the contrary in forza 3 you feel like you have complete control of the car.and you are responsible for all it's movements.and if you feel that the game is easy and arcade just try to play it with all the assists off.

We get it already, you're not going to change your opinion no matter how many facts are stated, and that's OK , to each his own.

But please quit trying to force  your opinions as facts and promoting Forza 3 in a thread about GT5.

the problem is that you are playing with a controller.

If you have ever driven a BMW or any "driver's cars", they are quick and responsive to any driver steering input.
Good cars do react to every slight move you make.

Driving a RWD with traction control off requires very precise throttle control.
You are going to spin out easily if you put too much power on the rear wheels.

If you drive with a controller, you can't have complete control over the throttle and steering.

And please don't mention simulation if you don't even drive with a wheel.
