Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Should RMC get Cassamassina and Bozon's Job

Do you think RMC of Gonintendo should take a job at a large publisher such as IGN. I think he would do a good job of laying some smackdown and cASSamASSina and BOZOn in the IGN offices. Seems like the only grounded Nintendo supporter in Journalism

Regardless, IGN seems to be on the decline... why join a possible sinking ship.

every ign nintendo team + editor "at large" should be replaced becauae they hate Nintendo

RMC's a great guy, and very dedicated to his blog... but he's a terrible writer. I know, I know, IGN's no shining star of literacy. I just think that they could use a better communicator than RMC.

I don't think he is a terrible writer, he is just not using formal language on his blog (and I really like it because he treats you like a friend and not a reader).

RMC is a great guy indeed, I would like to see him at IGN. He is always updating the blog, he is very dedicated to this thing (more than IGN).

They should hire some of the people from the old Nintendowiifanboy.com staff (not the new staff of nintendo.joystiq.com who are just two people who rarely post unique stories anymore). I haven't heard of what happened to Alisha Karabinus, for instance. Or Eric Caoli

both bloggers at heart, of course, but better in their Nintendo perspective than anyone at IGN, certainly.

Let RMC run GoNintendo. That's what he's best for.

Who's RMC?

Who's RMC?

Proprietor, founder, and mostly sole writer for http://gonintendo.com

Except for Bethany Wednesdays (or is that Tuesday now? forget.) and the occasional times when Deux takes control

Great place, except for the commenter community

It's Deux Wednesday now or something like that. I don't know what happend with Bethany, I think she is diseased.

Exactly.

The GoNintendo staff is awesome. But their fans.....that's another story. And it's really a shame. I go to GoNintendo for news and articles, and come here to discuss the industry with non-whiny Nintendo fans.
