What level of difficulty do you usually start a game on?

It's always Medium for me, I never play easy seems kind of pointless especailly now because if you beat a game in a harder difficulty you'll get a trophy or achievement.

You should close this thread and remake it with "Normal" as an option.

Thats the setting I mostly play on, and it's an option thats in most games.

Never really remember a game with "medium" as an option..

Depends on the genre. FPS's I usually play on hard (I'm not that good at them I just prefer a bit of a challange as I usually only play them through once). Most other games I play on normal and then if it's good enough replay it on a harder setting.

Almost always start with the hardest setting available myself...that way it seems way easy later.....exception of course is in the band games, Started at normal and worked up to expert in those, still not very good, my hands cramp up holding those fake guitars
