Does anyone prefer single player over multiplayer?

Single Player 95 81.20%

Multiplayer 12 10.26%

IDK 9 7.69%

Total:116

Depends on the game... That's a pretty vague question, you know...

I play too many RPGs. Single player it is.

360 Games Now Playing   360 Games unopened:  Resonance of Fate  Last 360 Game I Beat: Resident Evil 5

DS Games Now Playing: Dragon Quest VI  DS Games unopened Knights in the Nightmare, Etrian Odyssey III, Okamiden, Dragon Quest IX Last DS Game I beat: Radiant Historia

Wii Games Now Playing  Super Mario Galaxy 2, Arc Rise Fantasia  Wii  Games unopened  Little King's Story, Sonic Colors, Silent Hill Shattered Memories Last Wii Game I beat: Sin & Punishment 2

Not a fan of deathmatch/capture the flag MP modes but love some great co-op. Guess I prefer to help/be helped than to kill

Playing: Borderlands(great co-op,HUGE amount of content),Too Human(better late than never lol),Saints Row 3(Penetrator ftw),Minecraft 360,Harry Potter Lego.

Patiently waiting for:  Tomb Raider, Borderlands 2

Local multiplayer with friends > single player. Outside of that, I prefer single player.

On XBL multiplayer is usually just me losing a match and getting teabagged or me beating someone while they call me a n***** or f***** and yanks the ethernet cord out of their system before the win registers. The combination of overly sore winner and losers has turned me off to it unless it's the rare occasion where I play with someone I actually know in real life.

This sums up quite well why I'm a single-player kinda person. Multiplayer these days seemingly has to be online or bust. Sorry, but I'm not dealing with the immaturity level from some of those kids. I drive enough of them around already!

Now, local multiplayer can be decent. 3 player Secret of Mana was good, and I'm intrigued by getting 4 people together for NSMBWii. But good local multiplayer is a dying art. So I fall back to single player.

Single Player is the important thing. A multiplayer is a nice add on and adds to the replay value...

Seems like it's going the other way around now (Multiplayer then Singleplayer...)

It depens on the game:
Mario Bros Wii: Multi
Mario Kart Wii: Multi off (unless it's 3 players + )

1. Offline multiplayer with friends/family
2. Online multiplayer with friends/family
3. Singleplayer
4. Online multiplayer with strangers

I prefer single player

Why don't you make like a tree and get out of here?

I like Co-op more than single player. Other than that though I prefer single player.

Single Player by far, most of times I reall don't care for Multiplayer stuff, except for co-op.
