Between the 2 HD consoles, no way.

Best case scenario I can see is 12.5mil 360, 8.5mil PS3, 1.5mil late Wii port. That leaves 3.5mil for the PC version, which I assume is too high (don't know much about PC).

Hold on; you're saying MW2 will outsell Halo 3 on its native console? That's like porting Spyro or something to the Wii and saying it'll outsell Mario.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. Okay, that's definitely not a good example. There are plenty of people that prefer Call of Duty over Halo, even on the X360 (most people I know do, actually). While it won't surpass, Modern Warfare 2 is going to come pretty damn close to Halo 3 (within 15%).

MW2 will outsell halo 3 on 360 in a period less than 2 months

The biggest hindrance to MW2's sales would be MW3 release in 2 years. MW3 is most likely just going to be an update to "mw2" forcing people to move on to the new game (especially due to the MP aspect). This completely kills the sales of the previous iteration. This would be unlike GTA games where each iteration can stand on its own two feet

@6 mil would only be possible if pirated PC copies are included lol

Hell No. It's definitely going to reach 12 millions on Xbox and 8 millions PS3, so 20 Millions for me
