Crysis graphics have already been surpassed in my opinion, i prefer, tales of versperia, gears of war 1 wipeout hd, killzone 2, uncharted series, because not only do you have good graphics but you have good frame rates, and much stronger online community, plus even a game like gt 5 has a better story than crysis.

I have a 2.6 dual core pc with a nvidia gts 250 and 4 gig ddr5 ram, and my pc is overheating so i can only play crysis for 1 hour or so before i shut it down, im not interested in pc games anymore, if this is what they define excellence with! endlessly tweaking your setup, and having to buy ludicrously just to play game with a stable framerate the way it was meant to be played !!

Im assuming i need to buy core 17 with P55 motherboard, and another gts 250 sli, just to play this game on high? this is not worth it!

who cares lol, Crysis may have good graphics, but that is all it has end of story.
The graphics shown on PS3 so far are pretty jaw dropping anyway, I can't still believe how real Heavy Rain looks, also game play and story are more important and play an important part on maintaining a games quality (even more so with realistic graphics).

DDR5 ram? Where can I get me some of those? I would have bought DDR4 as a typo, but 3 and 5 are quite far away.

Also a tip for next time, save yourself some money off that DDR5 ram and get a case with good airflow. I also play it on high on a 9800 GT and scrape by on a measily DDR2 memory, so I have no damn idea what you are talking about.

sorry im not a pc nerd, i bought new ram, and thought it was ddr 5, i looked at my case now, its ddr 3 and what you say is bullshit, at the beach bar in crysis even running at high is no fun at all, when the ice stages come the frame rate also sucks, how is a miinimum of 16fps and a maximum of 35 fps and an average 23 fps acceptable!

I'm not making fun of you because of what you did. I just think you are full of shit for several reasons. DDR5 does not exist. On my measily set up, compared to your theoretical one, I can run Crysis on High. Can't even begin to fathom how you yourself decide that your computer is overheating so that you have to shut it down. Do you even know what the optimal temperatures for a busy GPU/CPU are? How do you even know such temperatures are reached WHILE you are playing? If your rig is overheating it'd shut itself off, you wouldn't have to do it.

So you see, I was just calling you a liar and a flamboyant way. Reserve your insults for some one more ignorant and go back to your dumbed down consoles.

What has the bulk of you post to do with graphics?  How is tales better?  Does it have higher resolution, better AA?  Graphics isn't personal taste in the art direction or which colour palette you prefer - it is quantifiable.  And a fair few PC games (no need to limit it to Crysis) have better graphics than any current console game, period.

I can understand the cost issue in terms of your preference for gaming - but cost isn't a factor.  Just because I can't afford a Ferrari doesn't allow me to ignore its top speed and claim my nice Audi is faster.
