THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: REVENANT GALES
Kingdom of Hyrule is just peachy. Zelda(Imagine a Zelda that looks like Spirit Tracks/Wind Waker's incarnation) and her little sister, Hera, are in the castle courtyard as happy as can be. Boom! Giant flying craft attacks the castle, the castle guard is quickly decimated and a small demon and a large demon step out of this craft. They immediately turn Zelda into a gargoyle. Hera attempts to save her older sister but it only aggravates the larger demon. Some weird dialogue takes place. "Wouldn't this little troublemaker make the most darling pet?" says the smaller demon. The Larger demon gives an agreeing nod and Poof! Hera is turned into a small gale. Knowing she couldn't help her sister in this state, Hera runs away from the demons. The two carry the petrified Zelda to their flying craft and they go on their way. A frightened Hera seeks out help and stumps upon a travelling Link, he's part of a group of nomadic merchants, and the adventure begins.
Hera is the helper/instrument for Song of "..."'s
In the first half of the game, Link and Hera get from Town to Town, Dungeon to Dungeon, and on stagecoach riden by horses. The second half of the game, they fly on a mechanic, plane-like craft. Traditional items like Arrows, Boomerangs, Bombs, etc. will see a return but there will be some new items as a Shield of Shadows. With this item, you can absorb light-based projectiles and said projectile will reappear behind the source of the projectile.
I think I liked Spirit Tracks much more than I thought I would.
Pixel Art can be fun.
