Not only is it selling faster than it's predecessor, it may be the fast selling game of all time. It has at least 6 million selling weeks, correct if I'm wrong but no other game has done that.

Not surprising... I think NSMB Wii is the 2nd fastest selling game ever (on a single platform).

Will be interesting to see where it's numbers drop to in the long run...

MW2, 13 million in the same timeframe.

It will probably be the fastest to reach 20 million though.

Considering how much the DS version sold, its not surprising. Though this might just be an influx considering the Wii version was released around the Holidays.

Although among two consoles, and with the most expensive launch ever. Although that's not a knock on the sales as much as Activision blowing that much just for a big PR point.

At this point in time 3 weeks aprenttly to the chart. DS version is 2.3 million Wii version is at 6.8 million.
Almost 3 to one. Without the holidays it could've been 2:1. So that statement is countered.
