In no particular preference order

1. Roller Coaster Tycoon - Great fun and learned a lot. Helped me decide my future career
2. Super Mario 64 - at 5 years old, I had never seen such vast and colorful worlds.
3. Super Smash Brothers Melee - Multiplayer mayhem at its finest. Helped get through awkward middle school years
4. Mario Kart Wii - Most addicting racing game ever. Over 600 hours logged in.
5. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - The only game here I initially hated, but once I figured the game out, one of the greatest games unfolded to me.

Nice, another Roller Coaster Tycoon fan, I thought I was the only one! :) That was a ridiculously fun and addictive game. One of the first PC games I played. I got so far in the first game and beat most of the parks, but never unlocked the "utopia" park, or whatever the huge park was that you get after beating everything. One of these days I'm gonna have to go back and try to get it.

1.  Peggle: (it changes your life and totally blows you away) Your life won't be the same after you play, recommend or mention this game. Its influence exceeds the boundaries of the gameplay; it impacts your personal environment like no other game does.

Fixed. Sorry if you're bothered by my insistence, but I had to do it.

Lauging my off!  The sad thing is that I'm still living in Peggle hell.  Had to play it for an hour last night.  Gotta play it for an hour tonight. I'll be sure to turn my online status and in game notifications off.

Simcity 2000 - crack cocaine in a floppy disk
Tomb Raider II - My first 3d game
GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas - (best trilogy ever imho, San Andreas being my favorite game ever)
Uncharted - My first current gen game graphics left me speechless, however obviously surpassed now by 2

Gears of War. That game ROCKED and still does. Back in 2006 it had insane visuals and the gameplay was smooth and polished

Golden Sun- fantastic RPG, awsome graphics, battle music, story, this game pushed me into the RPG genre

Final Fantasy X- first final fantasy game I played, it impressed me so much that I went on a hunt to collect all the main final fantasy's titles(currently own 1-12, except XI)

God of War- this game blew my mind with its over the top kill and over the top action, with a great story to boot

Uncharted 2- I bought this game for apperently no reason at all,(mostly for the hype I saw for it) this game was so good that I once I beat it I started a new game there and then

Persona 3- I use to think RPG's needed a vast world to, be good, but Persona 3 changed all that, this game ranks among the best RPG's I've ever played

Resistance 2- this was my first shooter into the genre, and it was a great experience for me, and the 60 player online blew my mind

Pokemon Gold/Silver-IMO the best pokemon RPG to date,(can't wait for the remakes) 2 continents to explore 251 pokeom to catch, rematches, breeding. there was just so much to do in this game.

I didn't play a lot of games when I was small, parents wouldn't let me :/
But here's my list
Contra (nes): it was fun playing with my cousin
Mario series: best platformer games
Megaman: I first played the game on gameboy, it was very fun to me...
FF7: the first jrpg that I played that got me to be an jrpg fan and ff fan
Suikoden 2: awesome game, story, lots of chars.
Grandia 2: 1 of the excellent rpg on dreamcast,
Skies of arcadia: best dreamcast game IMO
Front mission 3: my first front mission game, I got addicted to it somehow
Tales of series; well I haven't got to play symphonia, so abyss still the best for me, but from the looks of it, graces could be my favorite soon

That's all I can think of right now...

Currently Playing: Devil Survivor 2 (NDS)

So Many but here it is.

MGS1: It blew me away with its graphics, story-telling and just being generally bad-ass, I can say it was this game that turned me into a Gamer.

MGS2: My first PS2 game and It didn't disappoint. I had to play it a couple times to get the story but when I got it all I could say was WOW. First MGS that I got the Big Boss Rank on.

MGS3-Subsistence: This was the first MGS game to actually get me to tear up, The story, setting, pacing were among the best at the time and I couldn't fault it in any way. Subsistence fixed all the flaws that Snake Eater had, that I didn't even know was there and turned it into a magnificent experience.

MGS4: The game I will proudly call the Greatest Game Of All Time. It took full advantage of being an exclusive, it wowed me at every turn, revamped gameplay made it a blast to play and Snake's story actually made me cry. Never thought a game could do that. I play this at least 3 times per year, and It never ceases to amaze me.

FFVII: My first foray into Final Fantasy and it was a blast to play. Every year I hope to see a remake because quite frankly no other game deserves it.

Crisis Core: Until Crisis Core, my favourite Final Fantasy Character was Cloud. But Zack, he is one of my fav characters of all time. Seeing his story and death showed me what a great universe FF7 truly is. And It also made me thirst for a remake even more.

FFX: My favourite Final Fantasy. The battle system, story-telling, music all exceeded my expectations. I'll never forget the feeling I had when Tidus first laid eyes on Spira or when you hit the 5hour mark and your in the Blitzball tournament. Amazing.

Persona 4: I've been an Anime fan almost as long as I have been a gamer. Japanese RPGs are my favourite genre, but even I can say some of it is starting to get stale. Japanese culture interests me immensely and while Im not a weebo I can appreciate the things unique about the culture. So imagine my joy when I played Persona 4 which honestly made me feel like I was part of an anime. The world took me over, I couldn't stop playing. The sim life, the music and the wonderful cast all made such a wonderful game. If it weren't for MGS4 this would have been my game of 2008. And I only pray that ATLUS decides to keep this on consoles, specifically HD because Im dying to see what a Persona game with Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm graphics would look like. And while P3 was good Persona 4 was better.

Black Women Are The Most Beautiful Women On The Planet.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

This thread is epic!
