Anyone willing to bet that Sony is not going to want the NPD to continue to release their monthly numbers? Of course, that is only if they don't improve, I bet if they shot out the roof Sony would be much obliged. This makes it easier for companies to push their "shipped" numbers on the public and have them eat those up, instead of the actual number of consoles sold, or installed base. Oh well, we shall see. By the way, this site is awesome ioi, I love what you are doing, and keep up the great work!!

[UPDATE] NPD reps have told GameSpot that it will continue to provide top 10 software sales figures each month, and is still awaiting word from all three console makers as to whether or not it should stop the monthly hardware sales numbers.
