Yup Wii is the only fully backwards system on the market. You need a Gamecube controller and memory card to supplement it though.

mm i didnt know that. thats a problem those things are expensive,

http://www.dealextreme.com/search.dx/search.gamecube

I ordered my memory card and gc controller from there. 15$ and it includes shipping. Not that expensive. :)

For some people like me that would be like $25 because I live in another country and if I want the products to come safe I have to pay for a transportation company to handle the products. And buying it here is out of the question.

@jonnytesta

Thanks for the impressions  I hope you enjoy ToG when you buy it.

No, that includes worldwide shipping. I have never missed an order from dealextreme. Once the shipment was delayed for couple of weeks and they sent replacement shipment for free. After they sent it, I got the original shipment. :P

Yeah I know that. what I'm trying to say it's that the postal service of some countries sucks and I'm forced to use other transportation company.

Why don't you make like a tree and get out of here?

well maybe im not a wii hater, but i dont like it that much.

impressions:( after watching youtube walktroughs videos ,i dont own a wii and i dont speak japanese)

i think the cities and the landscapes look way better than tales of vesperia.  i love the cities architectural styles. the enviroments are huge, varied  and full of detalis and the draw distance is pretty impressive. i love the water effects and how the worldmap is designed.

i dont like the female characters "loli" designs im kinda of tired of that. they shoud ad some women or some curves to the game.lol

i dont know about the combat system maybe tov gameplay is better .im gonna need to try it first. but the game seems to run with no lag, smooth and fast.

VIDEO sample  SPOILERS FREE.

im a jrpg lover so i might buy a wii to play this and arc rise phantasia.

off topic: can i play tales of symphonia and skies of arcadia (GC) on my wii. i never owned a gamecube.

sorry for my bad english.

Tales of Graces seems to have a terrific story.

Anyway, what I wanted to tell you is that the "Tales of Symphonia" experience is worth the purchase of the controller and the memory card. I know they where in my case.

The story seems terrific, but it falls short of many of the recent Tales games. It simply lacks the length, character interaction, and character development that Tales games usually offer. It does have a great theme and it does a good job of explaining and wrapping it up at the end, but it's a fairly lackluster tale to be told altogether. Don't get me wrong; it's a decent story, but it could have been much, much better.

Don't get ToS if you played Abyss or Vesperia before. The battle system is going to be very disappointing. Characters are pretty meh as well. Soundtrack is ok, but I prefer ToV/TotA's. The story is the only good part about the game, and even that isn't amazing.

"And yet, I've realized that maybe living a "decent" life means you won't ever have a "good" life."

Better character look, crisp graphics, nice quick battles.

Though the 3/5ths loli character team composition bugs me a little.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
