If you haven't played God of War, you won't think its bad... and this was my opinion, you don't have to accept it...

But Dante's Inferno is bringing its own failiure upon itself..Its imitating (directly) one of the best franchises of all time and failing to meet the high standards set by that franchise..

Darksiders and Bayonetta don't suffer the same fate as they aren't HUGE rip-offs, they have some originality.

Best way to describe Bayonetta is DMC ripoff (obviously since Hideki made both) with some Viewtiful Joe (also by Hideki) thrown in for good measure......oh I forgot, it has a mediocre story and feeds off a heroine wannabe badass and sexuality thrown in there. Problem is that she's a little on the stoic side at times with a bad sense of humor. It is kinda fun gameplay but will wait on the bargain bin for that title. GOW3 and WKC should keep me busy for a bit and then ...well you know the rest of the lineup hehe.

Witch time + Torture attacks = Innovation

Dante's Inferno = NOTHING new

Witch time= Viewtiful Joe Mach speed (assuming you played Viewtiful Joe), so no innovation there. Torture attacks =same as the QTE activation minus the various steps, so again, no innovation. And yes, DI is nothing new and that won't even be a purchase.

I was just going off the demo's, the demo of bayonetta is more impressive.

oh and DMC4 was poor imo.

No I played on the Demo's as well, but I tried Bayonetta on the X360 seen as it is ment to be the "better" version, to be honest I did not think much to it, I agree DMC4 was not as good as the previous DMC games, sometimes I wish they would do a remake of DMC 1, that would remind them of what made DMC so great.
