Zelda Wii has been announced.
If we know it exists, we know who its from, and we know what platform its going to, you can list it, even if you have no idea what kind of game it'll be. Like "Retro Studios Project." We know Retro Studios is working on something, and we know it's for Wii, so it can go on a Wii list war.
Those are the prerequisites for adding to a list war: You have to know who's developing it, that it does exist (and not just that it might exist), and which platform it is going to.

I agree with you that doing this is wrong, but I disagree with you on two other points.
One, I think list wars are repulsive, the lowest form of prick-waving in the video game forum environment, and bring lower every person involved in related discussions.
Two, I think trying to make a list war with any game that isn't out is disingenuous and potentially foolhardy.

The same source I got the following info:
The Last Story is being prepped as a "Final Fantasy killer" by Nintendo. They have no intention of begging Square Enix for FF or repeating FF7 again. TLS was named so by Matsuno as a 'take that' against SE. He did not split from the company amicably and this is the true game he wants to make without the fear of executives meddling and ruining his work. You can sort of see it as him saying that this is the true future of FF.
It will be revealed in March because of GDC, where it will premiere.

Zelda Wii was just example...But I have seen many other "X Wii" titles during early 2009 when we fussed about Wii's lineup.
