Hm, if talking about Home Consoles only then yes, I think PS2 is the king of the decade. When speaking of Consoles, I'd give the crown to DS though.

But mine can't so you really can't say the ps3 is the console of the decade if the majority of them lack the feature.

how is that? the PS2 did some new stuff back in the day.  great graphical games, the damn DVD player, backwards compatibility, and an unbeatable roster of AAA software.  I love the DS but the few great things about it are the very few innovative games like Ninja Gaiden DS, the Nintendo games, and RPGs.

PS2 had the most legendary total list of games.

While 360 Brought to us proper console online game which thus influenced how Sony made up PS3's Online which leads to...

PS3 for offering nearly everything XBL does and all for FREE while being able to play nearly all PS2 games(If you have a backwards PS3 like me and makingmusic and Xxain and outlaw i think to.) and ALL PS1 games aswell.

While Wii brought us proper motion controls, since Sixaxis is limited.

While PSP and DS brought us TRUE portable gaming, iPhone has not and will not do this.

So... now that i think about it, i take back what i said in that other thread again, no one console made last decade what it was, it was made up of my awesome ideas and games that all did a great job for what they were all mode for... and that is...
