DS is definately the king (however it lacks WRPG's)

360 has decent amount of JRPG's (FF XIII, Lost Odyssey , Blue Dragon) and amazing WRPG's like Fallout, Mass Effect and Fable. It offers more RPG's then other consoles

I agree with carl, VGChartz seems to adore JRPG's over WRPG's, thus PS3 and DS are in the lead in this poll count, the 360 was the flagship for JRPG's for quite awhile there, but that ends this year in 2010.

And thats your explanation for the PS3 winning?  or is it becuase this is the vgc forum and every poll for anything positive has PS3 winning?

@Boled- thats not true and you know it, what he claims is true, if the 360 were getting the most JRPG's this year it would have gone the other way around most likely for the fair people who knows what console has what, why can't you just accept the fact that PS3 got good votes for the poll simply because it has the strongest JRPG line up this year? be reasonable.

That seems to be the excuse with 99% of things the PS3 wins on the polls. It's getting boring and sounds emo.

The standout must have "exclusive*" RPG's on 360 have been Fable 2, Mass Effect and Lost Odyssey.

The standout must have "exclusive*" RPG's on PS3 have been Valkyria Chronicles, Final Fantasy 13 and Demon's Souls. Now, another bonus the PS3 has... Is back catalogue. PS1 (and possibly PS2) RPG's... A lot of them.

Notice a patern with the type of RPG's though? 360's are mostly WRPG, with 1 pretty decent JRPG. PS3's are pretty much... JRPG. Seeing the site absolutely loves JRPG's... Can you see what im getting at? Sure, PS3 beating out DS is pretty... Shocking. But as for it beating 360, not surprising at all.

Yes its about ALL RPG's however what you don't seem to get is the fact the most voters don't care about all genre's of RPG's, for great example its not just the PS3 if you notice, its the DS aswell, which has mant JRPG's, questionable in quality sure... but still alot of JRPG's, therefore commonsense dictates that most of the votes are directed to JRPG's more then ALL types of RPG's hences PS3's and DS's high vote range.

Is it really so hard to understand?
