I just saw a commercial during a re-run of South Park. Apparently Square Enix sponsered the episode and then the commerical came on. I also saw a few commmercials earlier today. Maybe this is a late start after its early release? I'm anticipating the NA sales. I expect them to be similar to CoD WaW for some reason. Both games have a shady release, and very little pre released advertisement, but once advertisement is pushed it should have nice legs.

Crystal Bearers is on the endcaps at my local Walmart. It has been there since release. Normally crap games or extremely high profile games are on the endcaps.

They're smart not to. The gameplay is unproven, but CC, and of course FF in general have great sales. Anyone they can hook off brand-name, without shying them away with footage of strange gameplay, is money in the bank.
