I'm to blame in this too. The day before had a ton of posts to read (somehow the game got active at 1am!?!?!?), I managed to read them all but I felt very out of touch with all that was happening.
So the next day, when my head was up on the chopping block, I just didn't feel like defending myself. That's lame, I know, but seeing how the end of this game dragged on, this is the last time I let myself die like that.

lol, I pointed out to the mafia, I had all of them nailed + the dragon in this post - http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/post.php?post=3038583&page=29 - to bad I had lost trust from the town at that point. I would have loved to lynch Hatmoza, but people kept on stepping up to the plate to be lynched first (nen-suer and j0)
Anyways, as for my role and why I never challenged Hatmoza on the subject.
Sir Victor was just a glorified townie. Had no powers, and my role quite literally said "During the night you can sleep peacefully and sometimes with the fishes." It never quite clicked that I was a retired knight as I first thought I was a suicidal townie, but then clarified with WoW that i was just a normal townie.
Also, I was dieing to tell you to lynch DGC as soon as he said he was a ghost.
And finally, it was a good thing I got killed, as I've been super busy at work and figured a sacrifice was the best thing available at the time as I trusted FF, SAK, and dsister (they came close to self destructing at the end though)
Wow. This was an awesome game to watch. Congrats to the townies and to the anti-towns that managed to linger so long.
