Well here is a basic rundown, the town has a lot of firepower at the moment, and we are going to use it to try and rid the town of the last remaining scum or a the very least thin out the numbers of suspects

I'm against the idea of nordlead roleclaiming too. I already listed what I'm not. I have to leave for ~1.5 hours, but if people insist I will post my role.

I insist, being that we have 2 protective roles if you are of extreme importance to the  town then you can be protected

It's been 3 nights and his role didn't produce anything that can help the town find scum, so I'm going to guess his role is not that important (no offense nordlead).

Well we have already had a 2 lurkers show up as mafia members, so your attempt to participate more may be too little too late.  But you still never answered my question.   I need a real reason as to why you shouldnt be targetted at night?

I do,  we still have an unclaimed kill on night 2. It may be him, either way it would be nice if that person came forward

Your role hurts the town?   Or are you saying role claiming would hurt the town?   Role-Claiming would in no way hurt the town since we have ways of protecting people who are important.  So.........  I guess I am saying you should role-claim and tell us everything you did during the game

here is the conundrum with roleclaiming. You don't want to provide the scum with more information then they already have, however you do want the town to know what you are. If you're unimportant and roleclaim, all I do is help the scum target the important people. Say you have 5 pro-town unknown people and you have a cop & doctor. If you roleclaim townie, all you did was tell the mafia they now have a 1/2 chance of killing an important role rather than a 2/5.

So using myself and the current situation as an example, while we already had a bunch of power roles make claims, maybe I'm more powerful than those already claimed, or maybe I have a protective ability. Does the scum want to take a shot at me? If I'm a useless townie (for example what if I was a 1 shot vig who got blocked), they wasted a night killing someone they could have easily handled later, while right now they have to deal town organizing a giant power strike with a confirmed unknown role. Currently, the bigger threat is to SAK, who is the only confirmed protective role.

so ultimately, roleclaiming can sometimes cause more harm than good. You never want to roleclaim townie (instead you should claim pro-town), but you also should never lie about your role.
