These are long term results which are probably more reliable.

It's the short term data that can be wildly off for a number of reasons.



Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

Can you source that?  I can;t find any references to Amazon's marketshare of the games business... all I could find at all is they hold 3% of DD music sales and 15% of Blu-ray video sales.

Like you, I couldn't find any info regarding amazon's share of consoles, games or peripherals sales - world wide or in any region.

I would take that 3% with some doubt until it has been confirmed.

Regardless it is not surprising nintendo dominates. With almost twice the sales of all the HD consoles and the ds on another planet, the market for nintendo add-ons and games is pretty big.

This will never change! I'm already getting tired to see the same top 10 every year! They could make a game called Wii Shit and Wii Breath that it would sell at least a million!

Maybe 360 and PS3 will have a chance to break more into the list in 2010 or 2011 with the PS3 and 360 coming out with their clones of Wii's ground breaking features in 2010.
