Forums - Sony Discussion - PSN Online Gaming - or lack thereof...

Its gotta be something to do with your home internet setup, but its odd that you havent noticed it until now.

Im guessing that you're running your systems through a router, in which case you may need to do some port forwarding, or simply put your gaming devices in a DMZ.  If you've already done this then I'm not sure why you would be getting the strange lack of servers, it seems unlikely that it is your location though.

I have over 50 friends and I say 45 are active - I mostly have from 3 - 15 on per nite. Servers are low but ppl still play them I have tried recently and the hardcore guys are still on.

in killzone also.

my 12 friend list always have people on-line... i play alot of bad company, a much older and sold 1/3 of killzone 2 and always find more than 2 w/ 24 people each... killzone 2 i started going on-line a few weeks ago and always find more than one server and i set alot of filters... you should check if you ps3 ip is in the DMZ in the router... that put your ps3 free of nat problems...

PSN games are usually dead, retail games on the other hand will usually have a respectable amount depending on when you try to play.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

The funny thing is, if a non-mod had started this thread, they would probably have been banned for trolling and the thread would have been locked very quickly.

Killzone 2 has plenty of players. Don't know about Warhawk, though. I think it's your connection.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

@sega4L

i get lots of servers on kz2 i dunno why its like that on yours, i checked my psn buddie list 10 are online right now and the next 40 have all logged in, in last 24 hours. i havent got warhawk anymore so cant say on that one.

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

I thought one of the advantages of having dedicated servers is fewer connection problems if people from both sides cannot connect to each other due to firewall etc.
