Im in florida as well, miami florida..

I'm in Florida, and I found a good amount of servers on Killzone 2. That's odd.

Play Socom Confrontation...a loyal community that continues to plays the game despite its many problems (most are fixed but most games wouldn't have survived a launch like Socom Confrontation)

Theres about 21 people avg online for me..out of 83...about 10 of them did not logged in for months for reason i dont wanna explain, others did not log on for days and others for hours.

LBP Has average 20k ppl who plays online...that's understandable (20k ppl who play l4d2 daily(PC))...Modern Warfare 2 has about 200k ppl playing average...Demon's souls has veryyyyy few players playing lvl 150+... Theres a good amount of players playing online on the ps3...

I totally agree. They have to make some games for everyone though, and if people are going to spend money on games because of the online, then I hope the companies keep them happy. But, hopefully they wont forget about single player, and split screen. That is were gaming started, and there is plenty of room for good single player games. Hopefully Heavy Rain, The LAst Gaurdian, and God of War 3 can show what focus on a good offline game can achieve.

On Topic:

I think that most of the PSN community just enjoys Home. I have added a lot of people from Home, and they are always online, and always in Home. I think a lot of these people only play games offline. I have talked to many of them about games, but I almost never see them playing. Perhaps like psrock and me, they just enjoy a good single player game, and don't want to be bothered. This is probably a big reason why cross game chat is not out yet. The vocal minority want it, but the vast majority don't really care.

KZ2 eu servers are always buzzing with people. It's always highly active even in odd hours of the day.

This is the most hilarious thread ever to read after you just finished playing 2 hours of Killzone with 30 other people.

I think it may be your internet connection dude. Because literally, I played both the games you named in the last week and the matches were full of people. I've also played Uncharted 2 and Little Big Planet online this week so I'm pretty sure everything is fine.

I haven't ever seen a lack of online players in any of my multiplayer ps3 games.

Clearly your router/provider is blocking your internet connection in some way.
