Uh, why do you think so? It's just an end of the year sale (and they try to equate low prices from other retailers, in this case Best Buy), they also have MW2 and AC2 at $39.99 (an even bigger discount...). Also the only reason NSMBWii is not no. 1 in Amazon right now is because it is constantly out of stock... Don't worry

They really should do a "Player's Choice" line for Wii imo. Some games (Mario Kart, Smash Brawl, Wii Play, etc) might be doing fine as is, but other stuff like Twilight Princess seems pretty much done at $49.99. If TP got a $19-24 rerelease, I think it'd manage to outsell OOT eventually.

I think it's their (new?) policy of matching any online special price. I've noticed this for a while now in the last couple of months - some video game special goes up somewhere, and then a day later (or same day) Amazon has a similar offer.

I think Amazon gets it right.
It will sellout quickly but at the same time will build up their name for the-place-to-buy.
