Well this isn't going to be a fancy stats thread just some thoughts. When I first heard of the WII while playing street hockey years ago, I didn't quite catch what it was about but by the thoughts of it, it was supposed to be a Gamecube on steroids. Well now we see it's more of Michael Jordon over a Barry Bonds. Xbox was doing so well but in my area it had alot of hype and it was the dominant force 360 came out, but I waited for my ps3. As I've been with the PS brand ever since I was 5.
Now it's nearly 2010, and the Wii is a profitable (for producer and consuer succes) that brings in a new audience while the other two opponents hold almost 1.5 less sales. I will point out that the Wii brought in a more casual group that was looking (and found) a cheap way to fun and excersise. Cumunitivley all three consoles brought in 110 million User's to date Compared to last Gen's nearly 200 million. I still believe there 50 million gamer in the last gen and they may never transfer over until the Next Gen. So if PS360 piggy on this new trend Next Gen might be more interesting than this one.
But HD still has 20 million more sales that Motion Gamin 65m-62m. And to those saying WII is on top well I don't understand it how so, maybe as Nintendo but as a gaming tred people are still mor traditional and we see that with HD sales compared to "Motion" sales.
I think Politics would explain this best. America 08'- Democrats and Republicans fight each other on the political battlefield for President (1st place) Democrats- Have Obama- Black Change Man Clinton- Experienced, White Woman. Hillary had a chance to not withdraw and the elections would hurt the Dems' (HD twins) which is the case now where we have two parties battling for one group of gamers and Republicans (Motion) battling for another. So if he had Obama vs Clinton vs "that republcian guy" ( joke) It might end up something like this. 25% / 30% / 45%
Ironic Eh?
Think about it?

Bagenome:You can't shoot things on a blog, and babies can't read, so I don't think it would suit either one's target audience."
