What I'm really hating are spelling mistakes. The German translation of Okami was a pure disaster. I am a perfectionist concerning the orthography, so I was forced to change the language into English.
There was one hilarious mistake in Little King's Story too. A big 'KING' was to be read on the screen. The German translation wrote 'KNÖIG' instead of 'KÖNIG'. I was crying!
Well Rol that really sucks, but it makes me wonder if it is really an error in translation or if the problem also appears in the english version. Probably you are correct and they use something like "there I lie" in the english version, but still, it isn't so obvious to me that the problem exists because of the translation.
On another note, the german translation really sucked for Okami as Vas-y said. Didn't take much away from an amazing game though.

Yeah it seems a bit like an overkill on the DS now with two similar games in such a short time frame. As long as this goes only for the handheld games while the home console ones still feel as epic as the others did I'm fine with this though, but we will have to see how Zelda Wii turns out.
And as long as they want to release two games for both consoles a gen and a spinoff like Crossbow Training, they just don't have the time to work on another game. Have they done anything else than Zelda since Majora's Mask actually?

Schnickschnack. You wouldn't claim that if you had played more PC games in your life, e.g. The Secret of Monkey Island or other LucasArts adventure games.
For your joy, the google translate was awful enought to not understand almost anything. Anyway i share the same problem as you with the spanish translation [latinamerican or even worse the spanish from spain]
For my luck, they used to release first an english version of the game and later and spanish one, but neither Phantom Hourglass or Spirit's Tracks it didn't follow the trend and i needed to change the language of my handheld for and adecuate translate

Yeah I agree. Phantom Hourglass was really only inside the dungeons on par with the other games, and it seems Spirit Tracks is the same.
I don't know though if this is really because the team is bored or because they know that a handheld game also sells well when the quality is a bit lower. Zelda Wii will be the proof of this.
I think it would be the best thing to have another team to make the handheld games, one that is maybe a bit less talented, but more passionate just like Flagship was when they did the Oracles and Minish Cap. Like that, the EAD team would have time to do something else.
