This is the closest they ever came to confirming it. I don't think they would announce anything without at least having some screenshots to go with it. Looking foward to seeing those if it's true.

Missing the point, i think.

I think games released on PS, made by Square... Sony have the rights to them. Not expanded stuff. Just those games. So a Remake of FF7... Sony would possibly have rights to it.

not just those ANY PS games on before merger...im gonna try to find the link but its very old

Does Rockstar own the rights to GTA IV (JP publisher)?

so Sony owns the rights to all PS games made before the merger... why do the GBA and DS have a Kingdom Hearts game? Why did they port FF XI to the 360?
