I think what he is referring to are PS/PC fanboys who claim that a 360 isn't worth owning because it barely has true exclusives. Which is in fact false. The 360 has less true exclusives but the way that fanboys exaggerate, you'd think it is a lot less. Not to mention that many 360 exclusives are quality games.

360: 119 true exclusives

PS3: 160 true exclusives
And this all makes sense because many 360 developers (Valve, Bioware, Epic Games) have a PC gaming background whereas very few PS3 developers do (ie. Naughty Dog and Insomniac were always console-only I think. And in Japan, which favors the PS3, the PC market is dominated by visual novels and dating sims. I read somewhere that apparently these games collectively own 70% of the PC software market in Japan. "Core" gaming isn't big on the PC in Japan. The Japanese are much more console-oriented. It's the Koreans and Chinese that love PC gaming. The Japanese don't care for it much.) At the end of the day, the 360 holds its own quite well exclusive wise while still positioning itself as an alternative to heavy duty PC gaming (360 has 75 console exclusives whereas PS3 only has 9.. most of the PS3/PC games being MMOs I think, a market where you absolutely can not ignore the PC. Square-Enix and Sony also can't afford to not milk the Korean and Chinese markets. They LOVE MMOs and they play them on PC. So you gotta cater to their interests.)
At the end of the day, you don't have to spread lies about a console to justify not purchasing a console. If you don't want the console, whether it's due to budgetary restraints, time restraints or just plain not caring about the library, then just leave it at that.
