I have no hopes, Nintendo already said there's not gonna be a Star Fox game this gen. And I'm sad, 'cause it's my favorite saga. I have one thousand ideas for a new Star Fox game on Wii, if only they'd listen to fans a little more...

@ Mr Khan.
other way around. It is EAD4 who will be doing pikmin 3 so EAD1 is the only EAD that could be working fully on star fox. Theres rumours that the director of a previous star fox game has been moved to EAD1 but only a very small one and i dont see it happening to be honest
nintendo fanboy, but the good kind
proud soldier of nintopia
I want a Star Fox that ;s a sequal to Assult that's on a console
The muiltiplayer was addicting

It wouldn't be hard to make a Wii StarFox, since the aiming can be simply point and click.

I think it will, since Miyamoto specifically mentioned the Wiimote working well for the series, but it annoys me that they're avoiding the franchise. But yes, I do think we will see a new Star Fox for Wii before this gen ends.
It better! We need a great StarFox SHOOTER so much. None of that other crap, just make a true sequal to the real StarFox games.
Star Fox games came out in 1993, 1997, 2002, 2005, and 2006. Longest gap was 5 years, when they tried something crazy different (Star Fox Adventures). We'll see one in 2011 at the latest. Maybe they're trying something crazy different, like motion controls.
Besides, Brawl had 3 characters from Star Fox in it. Nintendo loves the series. The last 3 Nintendo consoles each got one Mario, at least one Zelda, and at least one Star Fox. It's the Nintendo way. We all just have to believe in it hard enough to make sure it happens.

Not to be argumentative, but Brawl also had 2 characters from Mother, which Nintendo persistently refuses to either localize the third installment beyond Japan, or put any of the series on Virtual Console anywhere.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
Looking at the sales for Star Fox Command, it hasn't even sold 1 million copies ...on the DS. That could have entered into their decision. I wonder if they are looking at things like virtual console sales also to help the decision making process.
