Ahh... really? i HATED the first assassins creed, the battle system was crap VS Prince of Perisia's Fantasy styled combat, the platforming was good too...

i felt the same, but i LOVED the second one alot , you should never miss it.

i don't really know why i toke the dive and bought it in full price but im glad i did its worth every penny

the first is one of my most hated games ever this gen it and along with Far Cry 2 made me lose faith in ubisoft

ahaa jus bought it still a rush for boxin week got the last copy at bestbuy cudn't help but pickup uncharted 2 as well even though it's reg price tol me to bring my reciept and a superstore flyer next week they'll giv me back $25 through price match with them...since no price match during boxing specials

But yeah, I think most people would agree with OP. I didn't even finish AC1 cause it was so bad, but AC2 was great. The platforming feels clunky though, and that's what separates its platforming from Uncharted.

I bought it for the hell of it, I can't play it for like another day though (been waiting 6 days). It better not be climb tower, sneak, chase, kill like the last game. Also the ending better not be button masher counter-attackathon with no save points.

OP I think that after playing infamous the volecity in ac 1 and 2 is snail pace and the combat is still siplistic and easy button mashing. I wish the combat was tougher forcing u 2 get good. I still say both games r overated. I am truly not happy 2 say that.

This game is horrible. I don't understand how a game with such horrid controls can get away with such a high metacritic. The only thing that's good about this game is the story line, that's it! When I played this game for the first 4 hours I thought it was great but then the controls just kept bugging me and bugging me. This game is a prime example of why devs should not release a game until it is actually finished. Lazy devs just ruined a potentially perfect game due such shitty controls. Your character does not listen to your commands half the time and will often due the exact opposite than what you tell him to do, I mean how retarded do you have to be in order to create and release such a fucked up game?

I'm being serious btw, the controls need major tweaking and needs to be passed on to a dev that knows how to create controls for a videogame.
