Hey guys, I got a gift card for gamestop and I was like I should get a Basketball game. So I look on Gamestop.com and both of them are 50 bucks, is there a huge difference between them and which is better? and are both versions for the ps3 and the 360 identical or does one console have the advantage?

Live has stepped it up this year but 2K10 is still the better basketball game. I stopped playing live back in 2005.

the majority likes 2K more, but I'm a Live fan.

2K10. Live has been below 2K for almost 5 years.

2K has been the better basketball franchise throughout the 360/PS3 gen.

Problem with both is that both 2K and EA close their servers after about 18 months so i would buy 2K9 or the new 2K10 if you want the chance to get all achievements/trophies.
