I can't freaggin jump the ledge... I just keep swinging back and forth on a lamp post... really annoying.. Can someone please help me to figure this thing out... I'm a quarter of the way through the game (probably) and he seems to jump when he wants.

Think you need to be more specific than "back and forth on a lamp post". Where in the story are you, what part of the world and what's your current "mission"?

I would propose to figure it out yourself, it's way more satisfying that way. Unless you don't care. Also say what chapter you are stuck with.

Um if you can move up and down the post try doing that for a longer swing

i got stuck doing this to....in the first uncharted u had to move the stick back and forth

in uncharted 2 they changed it...just hold the stick forward and it will rock by itself.....

It's the part where Chloe got captured, the journalist dude got shot, and the other girl (Forget her name) punched out one of the guards, and the two of us started running. I have to break the board from the other side of the door so we can get to the train station... that's all I know.

are u talkign about the massive lamp post where if u jump or drop down u die?

if so, u have to kill all the enemies that spawn, the blonde girl will lower a bridgethingy for u after that. then u just jump onto it :)

Climb the lamppost and you can shoot the boards from there.  

...If you get lost, or stuck, shoot it...  I was stuck on the light puzzle for a while, because I didn't see the notches where i could drop down from and aim the lights into the green lamp....  Anyway, I'll try shooting it... My only gripe with this game is simply the swining, it doesn't work how I'd like it too.
