Ive got my hands on bayonetta today and by no exageration , this is by far the best hack n slash ever in video games.

The boss battles (and there are alot of them) are the most epic things ive ever seen in a video game....im still thinking if I should put it above SOTC as my number 2 favourite game but the only thing holding it back is its aparent stupid story (im 8 chapters in)

This gameplay....if you thought the demo was good , it doesnt hold a candle to what bayonetta is all about. The style ,elegance and depth of the combat make GOW ,DMC & NG look like a joke....again this isnt an exageration.

I know I shouldt be playing this game (I will buy it when it releases) but I was far to hyped not to play this game at first chance.

And ps3 owners....you owe it to yourselves to play this game....ive played the ps3 demo and the 360 version was only a little better but only a little....I really dont see wtf the reviewers are saying because they are both equal in my eyes.

can´t wait to finally play it...it looks and plays awesome.

I've been hearing amazing things about the game, and from what I see, it could beat Ninja Gaiden as my favorite hack and slash. But I also want to try out God of War III.

Gah... just read that other thread about the US/UK versions and there review... i think i may have to side with the 360 this time around if the PS3 version was "VASTLY" worse then the 360 version.

however i think the reviewer may have infact been Xbox 360 bias, so i will keep thoughts open on the subject.

My opinion is:

God of War (3) is better!

Bayonetta has a boring story and the caracters...are not interesing. Gameplay is good, but not better vs. God of War. I think.

Glad your enjoying the game but sadly I made up my mind, decided not to get the game long time ago the first time seeing its first gameplay vids and I will stick to it cause I got other games to buy for the next year. =)

tried both demos, dunno what praise is about. i wont be getting the game

I agree that gameplay was pretty awesome but otherwise at least demo didn't impress me. Main character and overall athmosphere felt so lame compared to GOW (greek mythology and kratos are just so badass combination) for example. Maybe complete game would change this though. Will definitely pick this up but probably when it gets discounted.
