Go Avatar it only lost 3% from its first week. I'm glad that New Moon and Old Dogs dropped out of the top ten. It would be great if Avatar could make more money then Titanic but its still a long way off.

Avatars first week was actually pretty amazing. It was the best ever from a new ip. And because its a new ip its very leggy aswell. Hence the tiny drops both in America and WW in its second weekend.
EDIT just a tip, you should probably hold off on posting the numbers until the actuals are released. Or just say they're estimates and then update when the actuals come in.

Aren't these the official numbers, it's from IMDB?
Well I don't know about IMDB. But the other trackers are still saying that the current 2nd week numbers are estimates and not actuals. The actuals usually get released a bit later.
For example. http://boxofficemojo.com/weekend/chart/ Notice how it says studio estimates? The original estimates at box office mojo for the first week of AVATAR were a couple of million lower then the final number (which was $77,025,481 as reported by both box office mojo and the-numbers.com) so this can make a difference.
I don't know how accurate IMDB is either. Since I don't follow it for box office tracking? Does anyone know? Since those numbers you've provided seem a tad lower then several other tracking sites? I don't know which sites considered the most accurate to be honest.
Sherlock Holmes was a peice of shit movie.
Glad to see the blind side doing well though..
And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... Took my kid to see Alvin and the Chipmunks 2, yesterday. Yeah, the movie sucked. It had its moments, though.
The theater was packed with laughing kids. There was this one character who LOVED video games. He had a DSi, a Wii, and an Xbox 360. They blatantly showed these consoles every chance they got!! No PS3, though...........I'm sure they sold a few consoles to their audience.
I don't have children but I loved to go to movies with my nephew when he was younger. A movie theater packed with kids, so much fun.
In Shrek though I was the only one who coudn't stop laughing when the bird exploded http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9B_JPa4TKU => too bad that the guy who posted this missed the best part at the end with the brilliant cross-fade to Fiona preparing fried eggs. My favorite Disney mockery in this movie (and it had quite a few).
Speaking of Disney, I wish The Princess and the Frog would be more successful.
