Well, Exclude Japan (which is a very different market) it's more like a 9 million gap... I'm pretty sure third partys would see things in this way...

HAHAHA!!!! Exclude japan cause that market is where 360 is getting hammered and ps3 is doing well. If thats the case why not exclude america aswell??? ohh thats right because if we exclude NA ps3 would be 2nd place now.....I shud have known.
He's saying to exclude Japan because with few exceptions that market is very different from Western markets for third-parties.
Thats stupid. I am sorry but there is NO reason to exclude japan why the hell you want to do that ? Because its different ? What is this for an argumentation.
Japan is part of the world. its different from the western market who cares infact its just the USA why the Xbox is in front of the PS3. Just ONE country. If we exclude japan we have to exclude also USA then we have just Europe and in Europe the PS3 sold more then X360.
Face it the Xbox has not won yet.
You just have to wait and see for yourself. japan is the HOME country of videogames its one of the most important market a lot of games are coming from japan they just have a different taste because they are ALLOWED to have a different taste. its obviously that the country has priviliges in terms of videogames that no other country has. We play Japanese games aswell. its just the two poles. japan and USA. And from those countrys are the games coming and the western world is divided between those poles. We all play tons of japanese videogames. They dont have this much of a other taste most of japanese million sellers are million sellers in west too.
they are just this important that developer tried to figure out what they specifically want. This happens in the USA too. But in all other markets its not happening or only to a minot extent because they are too small. And UK is just americanized the other markets are too small so nobody allows them to have an own taste. And in Japan lies the origins of videogames so ofcourse they evolved differently.
A different taste is just a stupid reason to say this market dont count. especially if its the second biggest videogame country after the USA.
Why is this thread still open when the OP specifically states a 5 million gap, which it isn't even close? I've seen some real crap bans for users on here lately and this thread is allowed to stay open so someone can scrape in cheap vg$'s with a thread that shouldn't be started until the numbers are official.

Man, it never ends, huh? Just cause their system of choice isn't doing so hot compared to the competition, we all should just look at part of the picture. That's just rediculous, and in my opinion, kinda pathetic. Even when PS3 wasn't doing so great I never once said, "Well if we ignore America, PS3 is doing great." It's just foolish and it definitely would have gotten a lot of heat from 360 fans. But now it's ok for them to ignore Japan? It's just like people saying, "Well if PS3 hadn't sold those extra few thousand, it wouldn't have sold a million units." WHAT?! Who cares? The fact is it did sell those extra thousand, and it did sell over a million. The logic is just enough to make you go bonkers. In facct I have. AAAAAAHHHHH!!
