Hell yeah, I love free stuff.

Hardly anybody ever gives me free stuff, though.

WHy would they do that?

As a Nintendo shareholder I say no! As a gamer, I say yes!

Actually, some free points might be a good idea...it would encourage users to check out the store that don't normally and it might be good word of mouth for the Wii.

To get people more interested in Wiiware.

That was the impetus behind giving people 1000 free points with the purchase of a DSi. I'm not sure if it worked, though. More importantly, it seems like DSiWare is a much greater focus for Nintendo than WiiWare/Virtual Console are. I guess it makes sense, but I would love it they focused more on WiiWare than they currently do. They're getting there, though.

I voted for B, it would be nice

I think more Demos or some announcements would be better...but 1000 points is not that much, Wiiware games cost much than DSiWare games, and DSi is sold with 1000 points included, and also some software (atleast in DSiLL) so maybe a promotion is not that impossible, probably is too late though.

CURRENTLY PLAYING: Xenoblade (Wii), Super mario 3D land (3DS), Guild Wars (PC)
