just taking a look at the asscreed2 comparison, it seems like the only difference is that they change the contrasts on the consoles?

edit: except batman on the xbox is suprisingly better.. wtf? Wasn't the ps3 the lead console?

then dragon age definetly looks better on ps3.. but both are not very impressive graphically. Nearly all the games look the same. Resident evil 5 has a little bit extra,  but it's nothing to compare over.

The PS3 was never the console the game was developed on.  On top of that Akham Asylum uses the Unreal Engine, and we all know how that runs on the PS3.  Gamespot never went into this, but apparantly, according to eye of truth, the PS3 has more shadows cast, but is missing shadow occulsion or whatever that fancy is called that the 360 has.  The other thing they don't mention, again according to eye of truth, the camera is closer to the action on the 360 than on the PS3 which has it further back.  A reasoning was that this will have less things drawn or less physics needs to be calculated since enemies are off screen.  But this is all from eye of truth and take that for that.

meh, gamespot is extremely x360 biased. just take a look at their genere awards, they always use the 360 version's cover even if the game is muliplat

i bet they went looking around for an angle ingame where in the x360's screenshot would look better than the ps3s then they used that shot to show their biased opinion.

which is why i now seldom visit gamespot.

Good thing that I use Killzone2/Uncarted2/MGS4 to show off my PS3 and 200Hz LCD-baby instead of multiplatfom games then!

Imho this matters very little, but it's still a real flame-starter so it's good I guess.

Anytime a website gives multiplatform comparisons(which inevitably come out in favor of the 360 so far this generation) they are called MS fanboys, or PS3 haters, if they be eurogamer/edge, gamespot, gametrailers or anyone, really.

Truth is, that isn't true, and its just a kneejerk reaction from fans of the console to blame some conspiracy theory for the PS3's faults in multiplatform comparisons, instead of its architecture.

Truth is, often, those same fans will quickly point out good reviews from these same and many other websites, with no vetting or mention of those sites console biases at all.

I think that these "Graphics Comparison" threads should show most undecided people that the graphical differences of the 360 and PS3 are minor at best.

When you have to resort to articles that point out tiny details that 99% of your friends will never notice should tell you something about the strength of your argument.

Ps3 looked better in AC2,batman,Dragon age and dirt....

Umm dont believe in any site bcus i've seen sites that the playstation looks darker and xbox brighter so i would say no winner. i say darker looks better than brighter and u can see the xbox is adjusted to dark and if u adjust the playstation to dark there would be no difference:)
