I doubt that espeacially in US, also the pre-orders chart shows u that people want Gow 3 more.
lol we shall see. I always enjoy the GoW series except sales seems to fall shorter than i hoped for seeing as how its one of Sony's best franchise. Pre-orders doesnt always mean much, look at the pre-orders for MW2 and NSMB Wii.

Yeah they did alot better
Speaking of sales, i believe Gow 3 will sell more first week and more lifetime sales in US.
I actually believe ff13 will sell more 1st week even in U.S. Has GOW ever been that big? Isnt is just a 2mil seller usually? Why are people expecting so much this time?
My thoughts exactly. GoW is a great series i love it and is one of my favorites, but it hasnt exactly been that big sales wise so what makes GoW3 any different?
Through-the-roof hype. The Spike VGAs even named it "Most anticipated title of 2010."
lol well if true then media hype is indeed a great factor, we've witness internet hype (KZ2, Haze etc..). I cant even get my friends to get into GoW since they havent played the first two and arent willing to play the 3rd without playing the previous.
Its rare for a game from a series to make people jump in late in a series if its continuing from the previous. Halo 3 did it because majority was in it for the online factor though.
Even if Spike named it most anticipated for 2010, we're talking about FFXIII, its been anticipated since forever lol. But we'll see in a few months if Spike truly speaks for NA.
