Is there no review embargo?

This is in the review:

Isn't that from "Sam Fisher is a bum" Conviction?  If so, how the heck can anyone trust a review that can't even get a real snapshot of the actual game in it?

What do you want me to say? He might just be lazy. Empire is rather respected so I have no hard time believing this review.

The critique didn't even point out any problems with the game.  I saw nothing there than even indicated the reviewer played the game.  Maybe the site is reliable, but the fact that they are using an old picture, and the review didn't say anything, doesn't give indication they played it.  The review didn't even make mention AT ALL of the multiplayer coop mode that is in the game.  Upon what basis do you have to believe they actually played the game?

Uhm, IF Ubisoft agreed to let them do a review for Conviction, then NO WAY they would let this pic slide.

this is the main xbox360 game that I want.

And that is about the only way I can see them being able to do a review of Conviction, is if Ubisoft got them an early copy of the game.  The more I look into this, the more I am finding the review suspect.

At least Maxim got the right KZ2 pic when they reviewed it....seriously wtf is this shit?
