@CGI
Hmmm... I hope your right, its just that I no longer trust 3rd party exclusives now a days specially for ps3.

Are you sure? Every single one of them look pre-rendered to me.

There are prerendered cutscenes actually. You just can't tell which is which.

There is no CG in Uncharted 2. There may be pre rendered scenes, in the sense that they pre recorded the scenes using the ingame engine not running in real time and then shined/cleaned them up a bit. Still pretty sweet though.
I would like to see some gameplay of this.

It's pretty easy to tell actually. You can tell because of compression artifacts. You know, for all the space that Bluray has, I'm always disappointed with how compressed videos are, especially 3rd party games. Seems like they never take advantage of having more room on the Bluray.
It's also easy to tell because you can skip the prerendered cutscenes.
ha just digging own grave by making comments like that. makes me think of the fable guy always tooting his own horn.
but seriously 7/8 are DARK? that's news to me

This what i was trying to say. There are pre rendered scenes, but using the in-game engine, like Metal Gear Solid 4, and sometimes they look like CG. But in the end, CG or pre recording scenes generated by the game engine occupy the same space of a movie, not? Look at 50gig metal gear 4.

Uncharted 2 fully utilises 25gb of bluray. Naughty dog stated this.
Pre rendered as in not running off the ps3 hardware and are completely CGI?
No, all of the cutscenes are in engine, and all of them or most of them can be skipped. Its kinda obvious.. Naughty dog themselves said there engine was made for the use of both. MGS4 did not have pre rendered scenes either, and don't come to me with the compression bull$hit, because I've already argued about it with certain MGS haters.

But, even in metal gear 4 you can perceive compression artifacts sometimes. 50 GB blu-ray is not enough anymore. Kojima said that they even had to cut something from the game. :(
