Never, NEVER base your hype on story in a Mario game. I mean, Mario 64 had ... 0 story. Sunshine's story was quite better, but it is the least appreciated 3D Mario game.

but mario games could have better story, the reaspn I liked su shine was the cutscenes, voice acting and story, and mario rpg had sweet story; even the original galaxy had ok story
