it says NSMB Wii sold 1.4m in Japan,FF 13 sold 1.5 in its first week


NSMB Wii sales do not yet include the FF XIII release week. With those, its sales should be at least 1.7 million.

So FF XII sold more in its first week than NSMBW sold in first 3 (or 4?) weeks and it was launched on a console with  2 times smaller userbase. Its gonna outsell NSMBW

Actually, i just realized NSMBW has been on sale in Japan for 2 weeks, not 3 or 4. My bad

In fairness ioi, not everyone realizes that Final Fantasys have a drastically different sales curve from Mario games.

Yeah, I meant the next Monster Hunter that'll push hardware. I doubt MH3G (or whatever it's called) will move that many systems.


Oh, also: I predict 240k for FFXIII next week.

If it were a normal week 200k or so would make sense, but given the timing I expect another surprise for some.

dude u need  stop being arrogant which i see in most of ur posts on this forum, i lurk a lot so i can see these things, ff13 will be the lowest selling ff since ff4, ppl in japan are hating it, go to neogaf and see how there are reports of mass returns of the game after only playing 10 hours of it. its being called the worst ff and has bad word of mouth, week 2 will be below 100k. we are only doin this to make your expectations come in line with reality, we dont hate the game man
