Forums - Sony - Trophies and Stingy Game Developers

I personally think it should be a mix of easy and hard ones. I like the easy ones because they can push me towards buying a game and I like a few harder ones because if I enjoy a game they will push me to play it more.

The ones I hate the most though are online achievements. Unless it's something like join a match they always bother the Hell out of me.

^ The Killzone 2 trophies are a joke, bunch of random Bronze trophies that are incredibly easy, but time consuming.

did... you get a platinum? o_O

the game is HARD on Elite VERY

I live for the burn...and the sting of pleasure...
I live for the sword, the steel, and the gun...

- Wasteland - The Mission.

People who only play games for trophies and achievement scores will steer clear from difficult trophies/achievements because they would consume too much time. The amount of time each achievement/trophy takes varies a lot from game to game. Games with a higher emphasis on online - achievements/ trophies will take the longest amount of time. Single player only games would require the least amount of time to obtain all the achievements/trophies.

Anyway what are the easiest PS3 games to get the Platinum trophies in?

Uncharted 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 can be added to that list. Nearly all of Uncharted 2's are SP and can be done fairly easily in the campaign (only 2 MP... and thats basically to finish a co-op and competitive game). Nearly all the story trophies in AC2 are Silver and the remaining bronze are pretty simple (still playing mind so there might be a few hard ones).

I liked Demon's Souls trophies.

1 bronze for each normal boss.
1 bronze for each weapon upgrade branch.
1 Silver for each Arch Demon.
1 Gold for beating the game [with the good ending].
1 Golds for collecting all unique weapons/rings/spells/miracles [so for 4 Golds]

4 ≈ One

@dgc:

/signed, Demon's Souls made everything that could be important worthy to achieve. There is no senseless trophy.
(Even if some of them were made in hell).
