He's definitely staying around for the next 2-3 generations of gaming so yeah...
I know I've said this before, but it needs to be said again here -- I think that Miyamoto is given a bit more credit than he deserves. Not that he doesn't deserve a lot, but it takes a heck of a lot more than one person to create a game these days. And those people are very talented in and of themselves.
At the end of the day, the world will continue to spin and video games will continue to be made. It will be a sad day, but Nintendo and its fans will make do.
Numbers are like people. Torture them enough and you can get them to say anything you want.
