There should be a relax-off mode, where players compete to see who can lower their heart rate the most. The first person to fall asleep or pass out wins.

It may implement a sleep function, where by leaving the Vitality Sensor on your finger, you can set a timer, where your Wii will turn off automatically after 30 minute intervals, up to maybe 2 hours max.
Many people use gaming to unwind. Nintendo created the VS specifically to help people relax. I don't know how this will work successfully, but it is a hell of a shot. You got millions of tired and depressed folks out there.
