SALES HAVE BEEN HUGE FOR THE GAME LATELY

I just want to show my excitement

I hate it, would never buy it. So i have no clue why any one would want it now.

Positive word of mouth ?

As far as I know, PS3 owners have been praising this game eternally since it came out. The good word of mouth was consistent despite lagging sales.

Then Sega dropped the price to $19.99 new and sales rose. The company made a public statement saying the price drop and positive word of mouth worked in the game's favor, helping it pass 500k.

Now, with the Slim redesign, new consumers are looking for the PS3's marquee titles. With a low price and a great reputation, Valkyria Chronicles has managed to stand out (most likely to "learned" gamers who planned on buying a PS3 once the price dropped)

i feel so great that new ps3 are buying valkyria whatever the reason is it deserves way more although like 2 millions

It's pretty much all I'll be playing for the foreseeable future. It's got a lot of flaws (or things I wish it did) but it's the closest thing to Final Fantasy Tactics/Advance Wars perfection that I've seen yet.

Possitive word of mouth, great art concept, innovative mechanics and the best RPG on the system so far should count.

Not to mention it got an Anime.

Though the freeroam mechanic did appear in another SRPG shooter last generation.

It's just nobody has played it but me.

It's called future tactics.

The gameplay is awesome... everything else... not so much.

They actually offered destructable enviroments too.
